Knebworth Community Chorus enjoyed its Carols for Christmas concert on Saturday 9th December 2017 at Knebworth Village Hall.
The choir presented a selection of seasonal pieces, some familiar and some less so, and enjoyed the opportunity of performing The Christ Child's Lullaby composed especially for the chorus by Knebworth resident Sam Jellett.
KCC were joined by the choir and instrumentalists from St Michael's School, Woolmer Green, under the leadership of Director Hannah Hewitt and accompanied by Rachel Wadey on piano.
The audience joined in with a number of favourite carols, assisted by refreshments served courtesy of the Knebworth Womens Institute, and accompanied, along with a number of the pieces performed by the choir, by Simon Marlow (piano).
This Christmas season, Knebworth Community Chorus gave a carol concert to residents at Constance Place and also appeared in support of Kim Wilde, Hal Fowler and friends, as part of a concert in aid of Waste Not Want Not.
